This online course teaches strategy and tactics for evidence-based organizational (EBO) sustainability and leadership. It lays out the template for how leadership at an agency or program can achieve organizational success, and consistently reach or exceed expectations.

Program Learning Goals & Objectives This program is designed for organizations desiring to become evidence-based and seeking to develop agency/organization-specific strategy and action plans. Participants will be guided to produce strategic and action plans which incorporate the five major components of EBO development:

  1. Knowledge and use of evidence-based policies, programs, and practices
  2. Demonstration of effective organizational leadership
  3. Understanding of organizational culture and use of organizational assessment
  4. Utilization of effective strategic planning, performance measurement, and program evaluation
  5. Ongoing efforts to enhance organizational capacity and sustainability

Participants in the course are eligible for Certification in Evidence-Based Leadership (CEBL) as an option. The course also serves to meet initial leadership requirements at an organization seeking to become Certified as an Evidence-Based Organization (CEBO).

The Certified Evidence-Based Associate (CEBA) program is a structured curriculum of training and self-study credentialing procedure established to prepare individuals for a career in human, social and justice services. It also aids in the recruitment and retention of skilled and talented staff members who become part of a nationwide network of professionals devoted to improving their effectiveness and enhancing the performance of their agencies and organizations.

Required Steps - Satisfy Minimum Requirements established by the EBP Society as Shown Below to receive Certification.

Initial Application & Assessment - Complete an initial application and a pre-certification assessment

13 Continuing Education Training Hours - earned by participating in our online self-paced certification masterclass. Successfuly complete course exercises, quizzes and the post course exam.

5 hours earned - through combined hours of required reading and online eLearning training on Evidence-based content.

2 Hours earned - by participating in a live required Facilitated Review/Exam.

Complete the in-personPost Course Debrief conducted live - onsite or online remote. Dates will be scheduled.
